RESOLUTION NO. 2022-642
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 3, 2022 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 7, 2022, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) JOHN
DEERE 1580 TERRAIN CUT OUT -FRONT MOWERS, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction with
the purchase of two (2) John Deere 1580 Terrain Cut Out -front Mowers, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of two (2) John Deere
1580 Terrain Cut Out -front Mowers, be scheduled for November 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of November 2022,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of two (2) John Deere 1580 Terrain
Cut Out -front Mowers.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October 2022.
