RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
CEDAR VALLEY CORPORATION OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA FOR F. Y. 1982 PAVING PROGRAM,
CONTRACT NO . 223 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$500 , 915 . 47,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA:
That the bid of Cedar Valley Corporation of Waterloo , Iowa ,
in the amount of $500 , 915 . 47 , for the construction of the
Waterloo , Iowa , F. Y . 1982 Paving Program (Contract No. 223 ) ,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project , after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work .
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements , said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
Passed and approved , this 8th day of February , 1982.
