' Tfiat the bid of Ernster & Company of Waterloo , Iowa , in the
amount` cofi $8 , 985 . 44, for the construction of the Waterloo, Iowa ,
'. Y . 1982 Peek Street Sanitary Sewer Extension (Contract No. 229) ,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project , after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted , the same being
the lowest bid received for said work .
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements , said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
