`WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on April 6 , 1982 at which
an opportunity was accorded to all

9 present their views regarding the preparation and
"submission of a Statement of Community Development Objections and
projected use of Funds for Federal Assistance as part of the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council finds the
proposed

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA , that the Statement for Federal Assistance
under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 , is hereby approved and that the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute the appropriate forms and forward the Statement to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for their review and
approval .
