NOTICE AND CALL OF PUBLIC MEETING
Governmental Body: The City Council of Waterloo, Iowa.
Date of Meeting: April 19 1982 .
Time of Meeting: 7 o'clock p.M.
Place of Meeting: Council Chambers , City Hall , Waterloo,
Iowa.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above mentioned
governmental body will meet at the date , time and place above
set out. The tentative agenda for said meeting is as follows :
Resolution of necessity for the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y. 1982
Lowder Road Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project
(Contract #180 ) .
- Public hearing on proposed resolution of necessity.
- Resolution amending resolution of necessity.
- Resolution adopting resolution of necessity.
- Resolution directing preparation of detailed
plans and specifications , form of contract
and notice to bidders .
- Resolution ordering bids, approving plans ,
specifications and form of contract and related
matters .
Such additional matters as are set forth on the addi-
tional pages (s ) attached hereto.

This notice is given at the direction of the Mayor
pursuant to Chapter 28A, Code of Iowa, and the local rules of
said governmental body.

Council Member petty �__� moved that
Council action on said Resolution of Necessity, all objections
made or filed thereto and all other matters related or inci-
dental thereto be and are hereby deferred and continued to a
meeting of this Council , to be held on the 19rh _ day
of April , 1982 , at o'clock P .M. , at
this place; that this Council retains7 jurisdiction of said
Resolution of Necessity, objections thereto, and other related
matters for consideration and action thereon at said adjourned
meeting. Seconded by Council Member

Adjourned Meeting
The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in
Regular session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
at 7 o'clock p .m. , on the 19th day of April
1982 . There were present Mayor Leo P. Rooff , in the
chair and the following named Council Members :
Bowers , Burton, Bowie, $etty
Penaluna, Roehr, Wilharm
Absent: NONE

The Mayor announced that this is the time set for deferred
action on the Resolution of Necessity for the Waterloo, Iowa,
F.Y. 1982 Lowder Road Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project
(Contract #180 ) , introduced on the 12th day of
April , 1982 . After discussion of the Resolution of
Necessity, objections and other related matters , the following
action was taken:

Whereupon , the Mayor declared the following Resolution
duly adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 1982-131
(CONTRACT #180 )
RESOLUTION ADOPTING RESOLUTION
OF NECESSITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That the Resolution of Necessity introduced at a meeting
of this Council on April 19 , 1982 , (and as
amended by Resolution of this Council adopted on the
day of , 1982 ) , for the construction of
the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y. 1982 Lowder Road Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Project (Contract #180 ) , described in said
Resolution of Necessity, notice having been given as required
by law for hearing thereon, be and the same is hereby adopted
and all objections filed have been fully considered and are
hereby overruled .
PASSED AND APPROVED, this 19th day of April
1982 .
