BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA ,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo ,
fowa at 7 : 00 P.M. , on the 10th day of May , 1982 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey a
portion of property generally located at intersection of Sixth and
Lafayette, Street to First Judicial District , Department of
Correctional Services owned by the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
described�_!as follows :

Th.e southwesterly nine (9) feet of Lot Three (3 ) and all of
Lots 6 , 77and 10, Block 26, Original Plat Waterloo East , lying
northwesterly of a line parallel with and a distance of
twenty-:Five (25 ) feet northwesterly from the main track of the
Chicago and Northwestern Transporation Company , in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa , withthe retention of an
easement over, under and above the below described parcel :
A five ( 5 ) foot easement of access will be retained for the
Department of Correctional Services over, under and above the
following described property :
The northeasterly five (5) feet of the southwesterly
fourteen ( 14) feet of Lot 3 , Block 26 , Original Plat of
Waterloo East , lying northwesterly of a line parallel
with and a distance of twenty-five ( 25 ) feet
northwesterly from the main track of the Chicago and
Northwestern Transportation Company in the City of
Waterloo , Black Hawk County , Iowa .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of May , 1982.
