RESOLUTION RE -AWARDING BID TO JOHN DEERE
COMPANY OF CARY, NORTH CAROLINA FOR THE
PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2010 JOHN DEERE 7330
TRACTOR WITH ATTACHMENTS, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$140,426.91, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
2010-742 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That said bid for purchase of One (1) 2010 John Deere 7330
Tractor with Attachments is hereby re -awarded to John Deere
Company of Cary, North Carolina, as the manufacturer, in the
amount of $140,426.91 as described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said purchase in
Resolution No. 2010-701, after public hearing on August 9, 2010
on published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted,
the same being the lowest bid received for said purchase.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2010-742
awarding the bid to Waterloo Implement of Waterloo, Iowa, as the
delivering agent only for the purchase of One (1) 2010 John Deere
7330 Tractor with Attachments, be and the same, is hereby
rescinded in its entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 2010.
