RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS
AFFAIRS (VA) AND WATERLOO POLICE DEPARTMENT,
AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BY POLICE CHIEF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Understanding dated December 6, 2010, for
a written support agreement granting local civil police agencies
full rights to exercise law enforcement functions on VA owned
grounds located at 1015 S. Hackett Road, by and between the
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Police Chief
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 2010.
