RESOLUTION NO. 2016-270
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE WATERLOO
CENTER FOR THE ARTS EVENTS COORDINATOR FOR THE
CLOSURE OF JEFFERSON STREET FROM PARK AVENUE TO 3RD
STREET ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS FOR EVENTS IN 2016.
WHEREAS, The Waterloo Center for the Arts Events Coordindtor has made a written
application to the City Council asking that the closure of Jefferson Street from Park Avenue to
3r Street on an as needed basis for events in 2016,be authorized, and

WHEREAS,. said Waterloo Center for the Arts Events Coordinator will notify the
Mayor's Office, Police and Fire of the dates and times of the closure at least 7 days in advance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Center for the Arts Events Coordinator
that the closure of Jefferson Street from Park Avenue to 3rd Street on an as needed basis for
events in 2016, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April 2016.
