RESOLUTION NO. 2016-284
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A WARRANTY DEED FOR A PORTION
OF THE FORMER 'DEVONSHIRE SCHOOL SITE FROM THE
WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF
THE SITE FOR $1.00, WITH UP TO $500 IN CLOSING COSTS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR -AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN AND
FULLY EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Warranty Deed dated April 18, 2016,-from the Waterloo Community Schools conveying
to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for $1.00, with up to $500 in closing cost's, for certain real
property generally locdted at the form Devonshire School Site, legally described in Exhibit A is
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 2016.
