RESOLUTION NO. 2022-686
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
TRANSFER OF PUBLIC FUNDS AGREEMENT WITH THE
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Intergovernmental Transfer of Public Funds Agreement dated November 7, 2022,
between the Iowa Department of Human Services and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to provide an
intergovernmental transfer of funds to the Iowa Department of Human Services from the
Emergency Medical Transportation Provider, in order to provide the non-federal share of the
reconciled cost reimbursement amount for the uncompensated Medicaid cost associated with
Ground Emergency Medical Transportation Services, is hereby approved, and authorizing the
Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
