Subject: 4th Street Bridge Camera PR
Please provide a price for the following work to get a camera network, power, and accessories added to
the 4th street bridge lighting project.
Cameras:
Mounted at the top of each of the ends of the walkway bridge, provide one (1) Axis #P3727-PLE per side
(total of two). Lenses shall be adjusted to cover the courtyard area and lighting towers in a 180-degree
fashion. The fourth lens shall cover pedestrians entering the bridge for facial recognition. On the opposite
side of these cameras looking back into the bridge viewing the interior of the bridge, provide one (1) Axis
#P1467-LE Bullet camera per end (total of two).
For the Middle Sections and bridge viewing platforms provide two (2) Axis #P3715-PLVE per platform
(total of 4). These shall also be mounted at the top and on opposite sides of the platform. The lenses shall
be adjusted so that one lens looks into the pedestrian walkway covering the interior of the bridge and the
other to cover the pedestrian platform. These shall be adjusted like described on both ends of the platform
and at both platform locations.
See attached image for further details of viewing angles and coverage. Provide 8 salient camera licenses
for these cameras to talk to salient. At the far end (southwest corner closest to the parking ramp) provided
two (2) wireless link Ubiquiti Nanobeam ac gen2. Model number NBE-5AC-Gen2. One wireless link is
located at the west most camera location and the other is located at the parking garage. Provide 120V
plug-in POE injector and associated receptacle at parking garage location.
Network Cabinets/Components:
Provide two (2) Nvent/Hoffman 24x24x12 Wall mounted, 3-point latch, Nema 4x stainless steel, and key
lockable enclosures for data network and camera equipment. Coordinate with lighting control cabinets
and exact locations prior to mounting. We will mount one (1) in each viewing platform. Provide all
mounting and accessories needed for a complete and working, protected installation. Provide 120v
unswitched power at each location. Mount one (1) 10 port, industrial, hardened, L2 Managed, POE, wall
or din rail mountable, switch equal to TRENDnet #TI-PG102i-M with proper 120v/24v power supplies.
Cable and Pathway
Provide mid -grade Category 6 cabling from each cabinet and switch to serve POE powered cameras. (One
drop/run per camera (8 total), one to connect the two cabinets/switches together, and one for the radio
(wireless uplink)). Coordinate routing with electrical contractor and bridge structure. Electrician shall run
1" conduit to match lighting conduit (3/4 acceptable in bridge path if 1" doesn't fit) for all data cabling.
Connect the two cabinets with one pathway. Cat 6 cabling can be flown in bridge structure to get to
cameras.
Electrical
Provide new 20A-1P circuit of unswitched power to serve network cabinets. Refer to attached drawing for
more information.

GENERAL NOTES:
A. ALL CONDUITS SERVING CIRCUITS ON THE BRIDGE SHALL BE SURFACE
MOUNTED TO BRIDGE EXTERIOR WALL OR SUSPENDED BELOW THE
BRIDGE. JUNCTION BOXES SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCESSIBLE
LOCATIONS. COORDINATE WITH DESIGN TEAM AS NECESSARY.
B. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ACCESS TO BELOW THE BRIDGE DURING
CONSTRUCTION - CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL RIGGING,
SCAFFOLDING, ETC, REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION.
C. LOCATIONS OF ALL NEW AND EXISTING EQUIPMENT, LIGHT
FIXTURES, AND CONDUIT ROUTING ARE INTENDED TO BE SHOWN
SCHEMATICALLY AND SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE DESIGN
TEAM DURING CONSTRUCTION.
D. ALL CONDUITS, JUNCTION BOXES AND FITTINGS SHALL BE WET LOCATION,
RATED,WATERTIGHT AND SEALED. REFER TO SPECIFICATIONS FOR MORE
INFORMATION.

1. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE EXISTING CANOPY LIGHT AND
EXISTING JUNCTION BOX. WIRE NEW FIXTURES TO EXISTING CANOPY
LIGHTING CIRCUIT(S). REUSE EXISTING CONDUCTORS AND RACEWAY.
REFER TO FIGURE 1 FOR MORE INFORMATION ON DEMOLITION SCOPE.
2. WIRE FIXTURES TO EXISTING TIMECLOCK CONTROLS LOCATED IN SAME
NEMA 3R ENCLOSURE AS PANEL 1C.

WITH DESIGN TEAM PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
4. REMOVE TWO (2) AREA LIGHTS AND ASSOCIATED JUNCTION BOXES
INSTALLED IN NODES. EXISTING CONDUCTORS AND RACEWAY TO REMAIN
PROVIDE NEW SPLICE BOXES TO MAINTAIN CIRCUITRY TO OTHER
FIXTURES.
5. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ONE (1) CATSE
CABLE EQUAL TO BELDEN #7921A ROUTED IN A 1" CONDUIT FROM THE
MAIN CONTROLLER LOCATION TO EACH OF THE CBX BOXES AND WIRELESS
TRANSCEIVERS. ROUTE CONDUIT SURFACE MOUNT ON OUTSIDE OF
BRIDGE.
6. REFER TO SHEET E-3.0 FOR MORE INFORMATION OF MOUNTING OF
CASCADES LIGHTING. COORDINATE INSTALLATION WITH ALUMINUM TRUSS
MANUFACTURER.
7. RUNS OF LOG LUMINAIRES ARE DAISY CHAINED VIA MANUFACTURER

labor, equipment, and materials to complete. The one exception to the RFQ is
that we will be running the cat 6 cable in the cable tray that is be hide fascia
board and below the new LOG light fixtures.
We are also asking for a completion date schedule extension so we can receive
the needed materials.
