RESOLUTION NO. 2022-709
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
2022-2023 RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS SNOW
REMOVAL CONTRACT FOR CITY OWNED LOTS
GENERALLY ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Engineer to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the 2022-2023 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc.,
in conjunction with the 2022-2023 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for
city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on November 7, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
2022-2023 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November 2022.
