RESOLUTION NO. 2022-739
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY WOODRUFF
CONSTRUCTION, INC., OF FORT DODGE, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,475,700.26, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2021 SANITARY SEWER GATEWELL REPAIRS -
PHASE 1, CONTRACT NO. 951, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A
TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, Inc., of Fort Dodge, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs - Phase 1, Contract No. 951, and
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
February 15, 2021, Resolution No. 2021-092.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Woodruff Construction, Inc., at a total cost of $3,475,700.26, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs - Phase 1, Contract No. 951, are
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of December 2022.
