AAn'cnau ctuthafr k)A-e-rh-Q.ICE h Notary Public in and for Said County �.� � SHERRIE KILTS U Commission Number 772917 • My Commission Expires owe May 9, 2024 *** Proof of Publication *** SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 5676 ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 19, 2022 BY THE WATERLOO CITY COUNCIL AS AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THE RATH URBAN RENEWAL AND REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AREA TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO This Is a summary of the ordinance approving an amendment of the Rath Urban Renewal and Redevelopment Plan Area Tax Increment Financing District ("TIF District') in the City of Waterloo, Iowa (referred to below as the "Ordi- nance"): The general purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the TIF District to add areas to the existing TIF District, which has been determined to be a blighted area and an economic development area in which the City may provide financial incentives for development within the TIF District boundaries as provided in Chapter 403 of the Code of Iowa. The urban renewal plan pertaining to the TIF District, as amended, Is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50703. And also, that part of Lot 19 of Auditor's consolidated Plat lying Northeasterly of the centerline of the spur line of the Canadian National Railroad, except the Northwest 68 feet of the Northeast 180 feet of said Lot 19, and except the Southeast 60 feet of the Northeast 180 feet of said Lot 19. The above is only a summary of the Ordinance and not the complete text of the Ordinance. Questions should be directed to the office of the City Planner. The Ordinance may be inspected in its entirety at the office of the City Clerk or the City Planner, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50703, from Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Ordinance will become effective upon publication of this summary.
