RESOLUTION NO. 2022-759
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH RIVERWISE ENGINEERING, LLC, OF
DURANGO, COLORADO, IN THE AMOUNT OF $580,380.00,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH FINAL DESIGN FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A WHITEWATER COURSE ON THE
CEDAR RIVER IN DOWNTOWN WATERLOO, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Professional Services Agreement dated December 19, 2022, between Riverwise
Engineering, LLC of Durango, Colorado and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$580,380.00, in conjunction with final design for the construction of a whitewater course on the
Cedar River in downtown Waterloo, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December 2022.
