RESOLUTION NO. 2023-003
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF PAULINE R.
BARRETT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GRANT
APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000.00 FOR THE
TRANSFORMING GATES AND BYRNES PARKS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Leisure Services Director has requested permission to submit a Pauline
R. Barrett Charitable Foundation Grant application in the amount of $500,000.00 for the
Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the submission of a Pauline R. Barrett Charitable Foundation Grant
application in the amount of $500,000.00 for the Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks Project,
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2023.
