RESOLUTION APPROVING ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT
AGREEMENT -FIRST VIOLATION FOR HY-VEE FOOD STORE
NO. 2, 2221 LOGAN AVENUE, WATERLOO, IOWA 50703,
TOBACCO VIOLATION, AND ACCEPTING CHECK FOR CIVIL
PENALTY OF $300.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement, dated January 3, 2023, for the first violation -
affirmative defense for sale of tobacco to a minor, between Hy-Vee Food Store No. 2, 2221
Logan Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa is hereby approved, and the
Mayor is authorized to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2023.
