RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JANUARY 17, 2023, TO APPROVE A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT REQUEST BY DOWNING CONSTRUCTION,
ON BEHALF OF SMITH FAMILY DENTISTRY, TO
CONSTRUCT A NEW 7,407 SQUARE FOOT DENTIST
OFFICE IN THE "R-4, R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE
DISTRICT, LOCATED EAST OF 4020 BANKERS
BOULEVARD, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of January 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with a Site Plan Amendment request by Downing
Construction, on behalf of Smith Family Dentistry, to construct a new 7,407 square foot dentist
office in the "R-4, R-P" Planned Residence District, located east of 4020 Bankers Boulevard.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2023.
