RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JANUARY 17, 2023 TO SUPPORT, APPROVE AND
AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF THE NOMINATION OF THE
FRIEDL BAKERY BUILDING, LOCATED AT 302
COMMERCIAL STREET, TO THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF
HISTORIC PLACES, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE..
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of January 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the support, approval and authorizing submittal of the
nomination of the Friedl Bakery Building, located at 302 Commercial Street, to the National
Register of Historic Places.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
