RESOLUTION NO. 2023-020
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
LOGAN AVENUE (US 63) FROM DONALD STREET TO
NEWELL STREET TRAFFIC ADAPTIVE SYSTEM, IOWA
DOT GRANT PROJECT NO. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)--SH-07.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Traffic Engineer to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Logan Avenue (US 63) from Donald Street to Newell Street Traffic
Adaptive System, Iowa DOT Grant Project No. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)--SH-07, and
WHEREAS, said City Traffic Engineer did file said plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., in conjunction with the Logan Avenue (US 63) from Donald Street to Newell
Street Traffic Adaptive System, Iowa DOT Grant Project No. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)--SH-07,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on January 3, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Logan Avenue (US 63) from Donald Street to Newell Street Traffic Adaptive System, Iowa DOT
Grant Project No. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)--SH-07, are hereby approved, and said project
proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2023.
