RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
LANEHAVEN FARMS, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Lease Agreement dated December 20, 2010, at a cost of
$3,876.00, to farm approximately 20.4 acres of city -owned land
generally located at the southeast corner of Ansborough Avenue
and Highway 20, from March 16, 2010 to February 28, 2011, with
the lease automatically renewing upon expiration from a year-to-
year lease upon the same terms and conditions unless either party
gives due and timely written notice to the other of an election
not to renew the lease, by and between Lanehaven Farms, Inc. of
Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December, 2010.
