RESOLUTION NO. 2023-050
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A REAL
ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH BLACK HAWK
MACHINERY SALES, INC., ORIGINALLY APPROVED BY
CITY COUNCIL ON JULY 5, 2022, FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF THE FORMER ALSTADT LANGLAS BUILDING AND
PROPERTIES, AMENDING THE DATE OF CLOSING TO
OCCUR ON OR BEFORE MARCH 15, 2023, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated July 5, 2022, between Black Hawk Machinery
Sales, Inc. and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for property identified as follows:
PARCELS 8913-25-254-010, 8913-25-254-006, 8913-25-254-007, AND 89413-
25-254-008, IN WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
for acquisition of the former Alstadt Langlas building, be amended to extend the date of closing
to occur on or before March 15, 2023, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of January 2023.
