significantly violated pretreatment stand-
ards or requirements from October 5,
2022 to November 8, 2022:

Violation: Daily Max for inc and Monthly
Average for Zinc.
Action Taken: The City o1 Waterloo
responded to all violatons of permit
requirements with Notice of Violation
letters. John Deere Engine works ceased
discharging to the City upon notice of the
violations. The City of Waterloo and
representatives of John Deere Engine
Works are working together to find a
solution to the elevated Zinc concentra-
tions.
