RESOLUTION NO. 2023-056
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF THE BUDGET MAXIMUM LEVY
PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 20, 2023, AT 5:30 P.M. TO
APPROVE THE MAXIMUM LEVY RATES AS REQUIRED BY
STATE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of February, 2023, to approve
the maximum tax levy rate, as required by state law, for the FYE 2024 budget.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February 2023.
