RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 20, 2023, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY
JASON FOWLER TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 0.28
ACRES FROM "C-1" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "C-1, C-Z"
CONDITIONAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, WITH
CONDITIONS, TO CONSTRUCT A VEHICLE STORAGE
FACILITY LOCATED EAST OF 709 DEARBORN AVENUE,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of February 2023, to
approve the request by Jason Fowler to rezone approximately 0.28 acres from "C-1" Commercial
District to "C-1, C-Z" Conditional Commercial District, with conditions, to construct a vehicle
storage facility located east of 709 Dearborn Avenue, and instruct the City Clerk to publish
notice.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February 2023.
