RESOLUTION NO. 2023-064
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF THE
PROJECT, RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF
WORK, AND RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT
OF $92,775.87, FOR WORK PERFORMED BY CARDINAL
CONSTRUCTION, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FIVE SULLIVAN BROTHERS
CONVENTION CENTER 2ND FLOOR RENOVATION
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Cardinal Construction, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center 2nd Floor Renovation project,
and
WHEREAS, Cardinal Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
May 17, 2021, Resolution No. 2021-319.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Landmark Turf Services, LLC., at a total cost of $92,775.87, in
conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center 2nd Floor Renovation project,
are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February 2023.
