RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS/PROPOSALS TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS
FROM EXPERIENCED DEVELOPERS TO DESIGN,
CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN SYSTEMS AND
EQUIPMENT TO CLEAN THE CITY'S DIGESTER GAS AND
LAGOON GAS TO NATURAL GAS PIPELINE GRADE
STANDARDS AND MARKET THE GAS AS A RENEWABLE
NATURAL GAS PRODUCT, INCLUDING ITS
ENVIRONMENTAL ATTRIBUTES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Request for Qualifications/Proposals to solicit proposals from experienced developers to
design, construct, operate, and maintain systems and equipment to clean the City's digester gas
and lagoon gas to natural gas pipeline grade standards and market the gas as a renewable natural
gas product, including its environmental attributes, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February 2023.
