RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF OHRT EXCAVATING CORP . ,
WATERLOO, IOWA FOR FY 1983 PINEHURST DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS , SCHEDULE II , CONTRACT NO. 242 IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,864. 25 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA :
that the bid of Ohrt Excavating Corp . , for the FY 1983 Pinehurst
Drainage riprovem.ents , Schedule II , Contract No. 242, in the
City of Waterloo , ' owa , filed with the City Clerk in accordance
with the terms of- the published notice calling for proposals for
the construction of the said improvement , be , and the same is
hereby, accepted, the bid of Ohrt Excavating Corp . , in the amount
of $20 , 864. 24, being the lowest legal bid received on said
proposal , -and that the contract be awarded to Ohrt Excavating

BE i5 FQR1HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be , and
they are kOreby; authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into
a contract;'on =behalf of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , for the
construction of the said improvement with the said Ohrt Excavating
Corp . , but said contract shall not be binding upon said City until
the same has been duly approved by the Council .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said
improvements be and they are hereby, rejected, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to return unto the persons
filing the same the certified checks accompanying such rejected
bids .
