that the bid of Nucon Construction , Inc. for the FY 1982
PiWehu,rst Drainage Improvements , Schedule I „ Contract No. 228, in
thE; City of Waterloo, Iowa , filed with the City Clerk in
acorckance with the terms of the published notice calling for
pr .posa'ts for the construction of the said improvement , be , and
the same ishereby , accepted , the bid of Nucon Construction , Inc.
in •the amou-nt of $15 , 951 . 12, being the lowest legal bid received
on .said proposal , and that the contract be awarded to Nucon
Co,nl,stFuctipn , Inc . , and

°5i BE IT . FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be , and
th, y are hereby, authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into
a contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , for the
construction of the said improvement with the said Nucon
Const ;ction , Inc. , but said contract shall not be binding upon
said 6iy- until the same has been duly approved by the Council .
-BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said
improv-eme. tts be and they are hereby, rejected, and the City Clerk
is hereI-y-'authorized and directed to return unto the persons
filing, tke same the certified checks accompanying such rejected
