� :; RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $ 14 , 173. 24 ACCUMULATED
• u s _ SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO EUGENE L . BERNSTEIN,
`' RETIRED AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS , on the 8th day of July , 1982, Eugene L . Bernstein ,
will retire as an employee of the Fire Department in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , Eugene L . Bernstein has accumulated 236 days
of sick leave and is entitled to payment for same, and
WHEREAS , Eugene L . Bernstein has earned and is entitled to
17 twenty four our days vacation pay, now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA, that Eugene L. Bernstein be paid the total sum of $14 , 173 . 24
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation , and that the Finance Director be , and he is hereby,
authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Eugene L . Bernstein.
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 19th day of July ,
1982 , approved by the Mayor on the 21st day of July , 1982.
