RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED NORTH OF 2365
NORTHEAST DRIVE, TO WEATHERFILED REALTY
GROUP, LLC, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa is the legal owner of pro erty located north of
2365 Northeast Drive, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally des * ws:
THE WESTERLY 65 FEET OF LOT 2, E T THE SO 227
FEET THEREOF, IN NORTHEAST INDUS I RK PLAT 1,
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAW TY, A.
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said parc real pro rty, in th o of$1.00, has
been made by Weatherfield Realty Group, LLC.,
February 20, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., as provide by the o cil of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to sell an convey said p es owned the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, to Kwik Trip, Inc., and
WHEREAS, it is the opin' of th uncil that th ale d conveyance should be made
as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS BY R BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLO
1. The above roperty loc north of 2365 Northeast Drive, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, as fully esc e pu shed notice in the Waterloo Courier February 10,
2023, is n sently ne e d t be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal
purpose Ind7tsownership serving n municipal purpose.
hat ffer of erfield Realty Group, LLC, to purchase said property located
north of ortheast Driv , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the sum of $1.00, is hereby
accepted, for eal property legally described above.
3. That th of Waterloo, Iowa conveys said parcel of real property to Weatherfield
Realty Group, LL y general warranty deed.
4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said deed.
5. That the original of said general warranty deed, fully executed and acknowledged, is
hereby approved and confirmed by this Council.
6. That the Community Planning and Development Director is authorized and directed to
deliver said deed of conveyance to Weatherfield Realty Group, LLC, upon receipt of the sum of
$1.00.
