A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO WATERLOO WATER
rn WORKS , 1950 LAPORTE ROAD , AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION

WHEREAS , Waterloo Water Works has made written applicati
--: to the City Council asking that they be authorized and on
to construct one (1 ) temporary asphalt driveway withoutprespectd
a permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same may be p ct to
co subsequently set on 1950 LaPorte Road known as Unplatted Waterloo
i West N 5A of that part of Northeast 1/4 Section 2, Tract 88, R 13 ,
rly_;p_g southerly of Junction Highways 218 and 412 ; and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa , that said request should be granted , now,
therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
Waterloo Water Works to construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt
driveway in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting
land with the subjective understanding and agreement between the
City of Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Waterloo Water Works that ,
should at a later date a permanent formal
grade be established for
sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said Waterloo Water Works
will immediately thereafter, and at their own expense, remove all
or whatever portion of temporary asphalt driveway they may have
constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with the permanent grade as may hereafter be set and established,
the work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording andtthe Blacckuti Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
Passed and adopted this 28th day of June , 1982.
