WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa , shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa `at' 7 : 00 P .M. on the 19th day of July , 1982 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon recommendation of Zoning
Commission to rezone from "U- 1 " Unclassified District to "R-2 " One
and Two Family Residence District a parcel of land generally
located northeast of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific
Railroads and south of the Cedar River along the eastern City
limits and legally described as follows :
Beginning at the intersection of the North Line of Section
12 Township 88 Range 13 with the City limits line of Waterloo ;
thence west'=tb the centerline of the C . R . I and P . Railroads ;
thence southeasterly along the centerline of the C . R . I . and P .
Railroads to the southerly extension of the east line of
Elliott Ct . ; thence northerly along the East line of Elliott
Ct. to the City limits line ; thence north and westerly along
the City limits line to point of beginning.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
