BLOCK GRANT CONTRACT NO. B-82-MC- 19-0008 BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AND THE U . S .
n3 =r r DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
h `WH'EREAS , the City of Waterloo , Iowa filed an application
with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding
-> under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974
Rr: in the amount of $1 , 294 ,000 ; and
wa WHEREAS , said application has been approved by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development.

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
` , execute the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Contract
No. B-82-MC- 19-0008 in the amount of $1 , 294 , 000 in three
counterparts on behalf of the City of Waterloo , and to forward
said counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development .
