A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO DAVID L. BECKER,
AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE (1 ) TEMPORARY
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATTER
OFFICIAL GRADE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That,
WHEREAS , David L. Becker, 725 Longfellow has made written
application to the City Council asking that he be authorized and
permitted to construct one (1 ) temporary concrete driveway without
respect to a permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same may be
subsequently set on 725 Longfellow known as Cedar Dale waterloo
Part of Lot B Cony at Pt 205 Ft. N of SE Corner Lot B Thence N 70
Ft. TIC WLY 48. 9 Ft Thence Southwesterly 45 ft. to Pt. 97.8 Ft. NE
of E line of Cedar Bend ST. Thence Southeasterly to Pt. 76.25 Ft.
NE of B Line Cedar Bend ST. Thence Northeasterly to Pt. 45. 5 Ft.
Westerly of Longfellow Avenue Thence E to Beg; and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of tne Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted, now,
therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
David L. Decker, 725 Longfellow to construct one (1 ) temporary
concrete driveway in accordance with the existing contour of the
abutting land with the subjective understanding and agreement
between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the said David L. Becker
that, should at a later date a permanent formal grade be
established for sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said
David L. Becker will immediately thereafter, and at his own
expense, remove all or whatever portion of temporary concrete
driveway he may have constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the
same in accordance with the permanent grade as may hereafter be
set and established, the work to be done under the supervision of
the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
