RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
HERBERT EMILY , TO REZONE FROM "R-3" MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "C-2 " COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT TO A PARCEL OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED
BETWEEN ARGYLE AND ALMOND STREETS AND EAST OF
IOWA STREET AS JUNE 14 , 1982 AT 7 P.M . IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING DEPUTY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING .
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M . on the 14th day of June , 1982 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of to
rezone from "R-3" Multiple Family Residence District to "C-2"
Commercial District a parcel of land generally located between
Argyle and Almond Streets and East of Iowa Street and legally
described as follows :
All of Block 67 in Cooley Addition to the City
of Waterloo, except Lots 1-5 in Cooley ' s Subdi -
vision of Lots 6 , 9 , 10 , Block 67 and all alleys
contained therein , all in Black Hawk County, Iowa .
NOW THEREFORE ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of May , 1982.
