A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF ALLEY GENERALLY
NORTHWESTERLY OF THE CHICAGO-NORTHWESTERN RAIL
ROAD AND SOUTH OF CAMPBELL AVENUE , AS JUNE 14 , 1982 ,
AT 7 : 00 P .M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS , WATERLOO ,
IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA ,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P .M . , on the 14th day of June , 1982 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey a
portion of alley generally northwesterly of the Chicago-North-
western Railroad and south of Campbell Avenue owned by the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , described as follows :
A twenty ( 20 ) foot alley between Campbell and Hollywood
Avenue and lying between the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad
right-of-way line and Lots 46-47 of Lewis Miller ' s Small
Farms in the City of Waterloo , Black Hawk County , Iowa with
the City ' s retention of an easement over, under or above the
described parcel .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of May , 1982.
