RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CARDINAL
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF WATERLOO , IOWA FOR
RATH FOUNTAIN AND SHIREY PLAZA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$243 , 125.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA :
That the bid of Cardinal Construction Company of Waterloo ,
Iowa , in the amount of $243 , 125 . 00, for the construction of the
Waterloo , Iowa , described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project , after public
hearing on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work .
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements , said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
Passed and approved , this 24th day of May , 1982.
