A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF A PORTION OF MEMORIAL
COURT AS JUNE 14, 1982 AT 7 P .M. IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa shall
meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7
P .M. on the 14th day of June , 1982 for the
enacting upon a proposal to vacate apurpose of considering and
portion
the City of Waterloo , Iowa , describedasfollowsMemorial Court , owned by
All that part of the south 12 feet of the north 14 feet of Lot 26 ,
Mill Square lying southeasterly of the southeasterly right-of-way
line of West Fourth Street as presently established ; and
All that part of the right-of-way of Memorial Court as described
in Town lot Deed Book 134, Page 223, in the office of the Recorder
of Black Hawk County lying northwesterly of a line described as
follows :
Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line of Memorial Court
which point is 186 feet normally distant northwesterly from the
southeasterly line of Fractional Block 5 , original Plat on the
west side of the Cedar River ; thence northerly to a point on the
northeasterly line of Memorial Court which point is 215 feet
normally distant northwesterly from the southeasterly line of said
Fractional Block 5 . All in the City of Waterloo , Black Hawk
County, Iowa .
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier .
