rin ` BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA ,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M . , on the June 14th day of June , 1982 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a
portion of Memorial Court , owned by the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
described as follows :
All that part of the South 12 feet of the North 14 feet
of Lot 26 , Mill Square , lying southeasterly of the south-
easterly right-of-way line of West Fourth Street as
presently established, and
All that part of the right-of-way of Memorial Court as
described in Town Lot Deed Book 134, Page 223 , in the office
of the Recorder of Black Hawk County , Lying Northwesterly
of a line described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line of Memorial
Court which point is 186 feet normally distant northwesterly
from the Southeasterly line of Fractional Block 5 , original
Plat on the West side of the Cedar River ; thence Northerly
to a point on the Northeasterly line of Memorial Court
which point is 215 feet normally distant Northwesterly from
the Southeasterly line of said Fractional Block 5 . All in
the City of Waterloo , Black Hawk County , Iowa .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of May , 1982.
