A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO HRS. ROGER B.
SHITH, AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE ( 1)
TEMPORARY AGPHALT DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATEP
OFFICIAL GRADE.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Roger P. Snith has eade written application to
the City Council asking that she he authorized and permitted to
construct one (1 ) temporary asphalt driveway without respect to a
permanent sidewalk grade when and if the sane may he sutsequently
set on 2031 Rainbow Drive known as Lobdells second add to Castle
Hill, Waterloo West 59.7 feet, Lot 38, Lot 41 , Vac Ralph Road
Adjacent on West Exc Com at a Pt 153 feet South of NE Corner Lot
66, Auditor 4hitney 'Doad Plat TM North along East line said Lot
151 ft T4 Southeast along South line Rainbow Drive 7 ft th
southwesterly to Pt of Be'; ; and
wacpcAs, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should he granted, now,
therefore,
et IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
Hrs. Roger no Smith to construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt
driveway in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting
land with the subjective understanding and aereenent between the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the said Hrs. Roger P. Snith that,
should at a later date a permanent forral grade he established for
sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said Mrs. Roger R. Snith
will innediately thereafter, and at her own expense, remove all or
whatever nortior of temporary asphalt driveway she nay have
constructe6, end rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with the perntnent grade an may hereafter be set and established,
the work to he done under the supervision of the City Engineer,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Rleck "awk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action ray become a
natter of official County Record.
