RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING

PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 233 .

WIiERF�AS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore 'instructed the City Engineer's Office, Waterloo, Iowa,
to gepare proposed, specifications and proposed form of contract
for $he:'F-.Y. ;1982 Sidewalk Repair Program, Contract No. 233 , in
said City; and
WHEJU AS, said engineers have completed the preparation of
said. proposes , specifications and proposed form of contract so far
as the 'Same relate to the F.Y. 1982 Sidewalk Repair Program,
Conttact7NO. 233, and has this day placed the same on file with
theCity Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and after
exam. natipn and due consideration thereof by this Council the same
appr .o.' e in compliance with the order of this Council and
suitab -e for the purpose intended, now, therefore,

Bt I: RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
I OWA:
Sec- ' on 1 - That said proposed specification and proposed
form of c_"b-ritract for the F.Y. 1982 Sidewalk Repair Program,
Contract`No. 233 , be, and the same are hereby approved and ordered
placed on file for public examination.
Section 2 - That the 7th day of June, 1982 , at 7 :00 P.M. in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, is fixed as the time and place of hearing on said proposed
specifications, form of contract, etc. , and the taking of bids,
therefore,
Section 3 - That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby,
authorized and instructed to publish the necessary notice as
required by law.
Passed and adopted this 10th day of May, 1982 .
