A RESOLUTION DECLARING A 120 -DAY MORATORIUM
ON THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES FOR "AFTER HOURS
ESTABLISHMENTS" IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo believes
that a moratorium should be declared on the issuance of licenses
for after hours establishments under the 2007 Code of Ordinances,
Section 3-1-6, effective as of the date of adoption and
continuing in effect for 120 days thereafter to permit the City
to determine suitable requirements for licensing and inspections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that a moratorium is hereby declared on the
issuance of licenses for after hours establishments under the
2007 Code of Ordinances, Section 3-1-6, effective as of the date
of adoption and continuing in effect for 120 days thereafter to
permit the City to determine suitable requirements for licensing
and inspections.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 2010.
