NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND
COMMENT PERIOD FOR WATERLOOS
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL
PERFORMANCEAND EVALUATION
REPORT FOR THE PERIOD
JULY 1, 2021 TO JUNE 30.2022
Notice is hereby given the City of
Watodoo has completed a performance
report for the Community Development
Block Grant (CMG) Program for Fiscal
Year 2022. The Consolidated Annual
Performance and Evaluation Report (CA-
PER) is available for public review and
comment prior to its submittal to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban
Development.
The CAPER represents and covers the
accomplishments under the CDBG and
HOME program tor the period July 1,
2021 to June 30, 2022 It consists of
specific program narratives, an assess-
ment of annual performance, an assess-
ment of progress toward meeting goals
and objectives contained in the Consoli-
dated Plan.
Public Review and Comment Period: The
CAPER will be available for public review
and comment for a 15-day period
beginning on Monday, September 28,
2022 and concluding al 5:00 p.m. on
October 12, 2022. Comments may be
presented orally at the virtual public
hearing or submitted in writing to Rudy D.
Jones, Director of Community Develop-
ment Board, Carnegie Annex- Suite 202,
620 Mulberry Street Waterloo, Iowa
50703. Any comments received will then
be incorporated into the final document
submitted to the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
Public Hearing: Community Development
Board of the City of Waterloo, Iowa will
hold a virtual public hearing in lieu of an in
person hoaring on October 18, 2022 via
zoom meeting at 4:00 pm during the
regular Community Development Board
meeting.

The purpose of the hoaring Is to receive
public comments on the CAPER and
Community Development Block Grant
end HOME grant progress and perform-

preparing future Community Development
Block Grant and HOME applications.
