In accordance with Iowa Code Section
447.9, you are hereby notified that:
1. Thal on June 17, 2019, the following
described parcel, situated In Black Hawk
County, Iowa, to -wit:
The South 70 feet of Lot 9, Block 1 In
Manson's Second
Addition In Waterloo, Iowa, aka Parcel
No. 8913-13-382-007,
Certificate No. 2019.823 dated June 17,
2019,
was sold at lax sale by the Treasurer of
Black Hawk County for the men delin-
quent and unpaid taxes against the
parcel. which a Certificate of Purchase
was duly issued by the County Treasurer
of Black Hawk County, Iowa and
subsequently assigned to City of Water-
loo, Iowa, which Assignment is now
lawfully held and owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and that the right of
redemption will expire and a deed to the
said parcel will be made unless redemp-
tion from said lax sale Is made. within
Ninety (90) days from the completed
service of this Notice.
2. Thal a description of the property sold
is as follows:
(a) Address: Empty Lot behind 232 Ricker
Street, Waterloo, Iowa.
(b) Legal Description: South 70 feel of Lot
, Block 1 in Manson's
Second Addition In Waterloo, Iowa.
(c) Parcel No. 8913-13-382-007
3. Name of Purchaser: On the data of the
sale, a Certificate of Purchase, namely.
No. 2019.923 dated June 17. 2019 and
Issued to Black Hawk County, Iowa. The
City of Waterloo, Iowa, took possession
and assignment of the Certificate of
Purchase following en action by the Black
Hawk County Board of Supervisors on
July 19, 2022. The City of Watedoo, Iowa,
Is now the owner of said Tax Sale
Certificate.
4. Your right of redemption pursuant to
Iowa Code will expire, and a Deed for the
property described above will be made
unless redemption Is made within ninety
(90) days from the completed service of
this notice.
5. If the Right of Redemption is allowed to
expire, a tax deed will be issued by the
Treasurer of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
