RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS, INC. DBA ECINC OF
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, FOR THE F.Y. 2010 ARCH
GATE REPLACEMENT DRY RUN CREEK, CONTRACT NO.
778, IN THE AMOUNT OF $184,995.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Engineering Consultants, Inc. dba Ecinc of
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in the amount of $184,995.00, for the
construction of the F.Y. 2010 Arch Gate Replacement Dry Run
Creek, Contract No. 778, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 2010.
