RESOLUTION APPROVING INITIAL NOTIFICATION OF
INTENT TO CONSTRUCT PIPELINE CROSSING/
ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT WITH CANADIAN NATIONAL
RAILWAY (CHICAGO CENTRAL & PACIFIC) AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Initial Notification of Intent to Construct Pipeline
crossing/ Encroachment Agreement dated February 22, 2010, in the
amount of $750.00, for the proposed installation of a 12" gravity
storm sewer encased in an 18" steel pipe to be dry bored and
jacked under the railroad tracks, in conjunction with the F.Y.
2010 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 772, by and
between Canadian National Railway (Chicago Central & Pacific) and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 2010.
