RESOLUTION NO. 2023-121 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 30, 2023, AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 3, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT PAVEMENT REHABILITATION (RUNWAY 12/30, TAXIWAY ALPHA EAST, AND TAXIWAY ECHO) - FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION - AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, VIA GRANT NO. 3-19-0094-0056, AND DIRET THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport Pavement Rehabilitation (Runway 12/30, Taxiway Alpha East, and Taxiway Echo) - Federal Aviation Administration - Airport Improvement Program, via Grant No. 3-19-0094-0056, are hereby approved. Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport Pavement Rehabilitation (Runway 12/30, Taxiway Alpha East, and Taxiway Echo) - Federal Aviation Administration - Airport Improvement Program, via Grant No. 3-19-0094-0056, be scheduled for March 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa. Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of April 2023, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport Pavement Rehabilitation (Runway 12/30, Taxiway Alpha East, and Taxiway Echo) - Federal Aviation Administration - Airport Improvement Program, via Grant No. 3-19-0094-0056. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2023.
