RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 20, 2023, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY SOUTH
HILLS SENIOR LIVING, LLC, FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
9,307 SQUARE FOOT (23 STALL) PARKING GARAGE IN
THE "R-4,R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT LOCATED
AT 1117 MAXHELEN BOULEVARD, AND DIRECT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of March 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the request by South Hills Senior Living, LLC, for a
Site Plan Amendment to allow for the construction of a 9,307 square foot (23 stall) parking
garage in the "R-4,R-P" Planned Residence District located at 1117 Maxhelen Boulevard, and
instruct the City Clerk to publish notice.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2023.
